Jinit Haria currently leads the Data Science & Analytics function at Gap Inc., supporting the Loyalty and Real Estate teams. Based in Chicago, IL, Jinit is originally from Mombasa, Kenya, and moved to the United States to pursue a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science and finance at Drake University.
He brings deep expertise in data science and analytics, using data to drive business growth, elevate customer satisfaction, and guide strategic decision-making. Over the years, Jinit has led high-performing data teams across the U.S. and internationally, ensuring data integrity and delivering insights that power brand and enterprise outcomes. Outside of work, Jinit enjoys traveling with his wife, discovering new cuisines, and watching soccer with friends.
Growing up in Kenya has given Jinit a personal connection to the challenges faced by communities served by The Humanity Share. His background fuels a deep passion for using data to measure impact and ensure that messaging reflects the dignity and strength of partner communities.
On his appointment to the Board, Jinit shared:
“I feel I am in a very privileged position, so anything I can do to help open doors for other people is something that excites me and a responsibility I feel I should be taking. Hearing the message of The Humanity Share, and the hardships they are stepping into - I knew right away that I wanted to be involved in any shape or form.”
Jinit is committed to advancing The Humanity Share’s mission by leveraging his expertise in data and analytics, particularly to support marketing and impact measurement.
