e're setting the table for our biggest night of the year, and we'd love to write your name on a place card!
On Friday, October 23, we're gathering at Warehouse 6 in Holland for an evening that feels less like a fundraiser and more like a dinner party — good food, live music, and time spent in community with people who believe in the power of creating something that lasts.
When you arrive, you'll be greeted by friendly volunteers who will guide you through the evening's events. Grab a glass from the champagne wall, and enjoy beautiful live music while grazing the charcuterie table. You'll also have the opportunity to walk around the beautiful venue interacting with the incredible work happening in Kenya. Take a water walk, frost yourself with Maasai jewelry, or make a memory in the 360 photo booth. Don't forget to purchase raffle tickets and challenge your friends to live it up at the Water Walk.
After cocktail hour, you'll start with a plated salad while our emcee, Board of Directors member Chelsea Wilsey, presents Woven Together, our theme for 2026. During dinner, which will be served family style, you'll hear from THS CEO Kait TenHarmsel and our partners in Kenya.
Storytelling
Our favorite part of the evening is sharing stories. This year will be no different, as we will debut a short film about how much has changed for the community in one woman's lifetime, a fierce advocate of girlchild education. This history will be woven with an incredible family's story, highlighting the work of The Humanity Share alongside our Kenyan partners.
Watch last year's film, highlighting Norah's incredible story below.
Interactive Elements
- Frost Yourself: Borrow some of our Maasai jewelry for the evening as you walk inside. Enjoy but be sure to return before leaving.
- Simulated Water Walk: Carry jerry cans, and follow a Maasai woman on her journey to the river to collect water in this immersive experience. Includes video and movement.
- Stories That Weave Us Together: What's a day in the life like for a Maasai woman? How similar is it to yours?
- 360 Photo Booth: You'll want to remember all the fun you had with your new friends.
- Scholar Story Walk: Hear from girls in The Humanity Share's secondary and University programs to find out who they are, what they've been up to, and how to support their goals.
Raffle Baskets
Local businesses generously donated items for our themed baskets to be raffled off at the event. Raffle tickets are $25 each, and winners will be declared at the end of the evening. Check back soon for sneak peeks of what will be available.
Water Walk

At the end of the evening, it'll be time for everyone to strut their stuff down the Water Walk!
Anyone can nominate anyone to walk for just $2 a piece. The more they pay, the more times you'll have to walk! $10 = 5 trips showing off your best moves! Don't want to put yourself out there? That's fine — just give $5 to have your name removed from the lineup. But keep your eyes on the screen...you never know when your name might pop back up on the list!
Join us in October!
This night is about the work we're doing alongside our partner communities in East Africa: water access, education, and sustainable income. But mostly, it's about celebrating together.
Doors open at 6:00 PM. You can purchase tickets here, and please look for more information in the coming weeks!
