ethany Rickwald is the new Administrative Assistant for The Humanity Share (U.S.)! She has over a decade of experience as an arts journalist, and most recently has been working in local politics. She enjoys playing at the beach, talking about theater, participating in Holland Quakers, and most of all — hanging out with her 6-year-old. Bethany also holds a Bachelor of Communications and Theater and a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Leadership.
When Bethany left journalism and entered public service, she hoped to find an opportunity that would make a direct impact in the lives of real people. She believes that THS is doing "important and high-caliber work" and is excited to utilize her skills to support women and girls, and the organization's mission. She says:
"Girls' education is something I care deeply about. When we create opportunities for girls, I believe those girls will change the world."
