Annual Online Auction

e’re excited to announce our 5th annual online auction was a huge success! We surpassed our goal of $10,000 and reached a grand total $14,695 raised!! THANK YOU to everyone who participated, to our amazing team who organized everything, and to all of our generous auction item donors! We look forward to our 6th annual online auction. Tune back in November 2022 for details!

Since 2017 our online auction has raised nearly $54,600 to support access to basic needs, quality education and income-generating opportunities in East Africa. Initiatives funded from the auction proceeds have included summer school in Ethiopia, clean water for Enkutoto and Oloomunyi, dignity kits for our students,  and salaries for our East African team.

Summer School: Ethiopia

Summer school and after school tutoring are provided to each of our students to ensure they stay on top of their education and receive the extra help they need to excel.

Clean Water : Kajiado

The Kajiado Town Water Project will provide water to 20,000 residents of the informal settlement at a subsidized rate and will also be sold to town residents at market value, creating a sustainable source of revenue to repair and expand the project.

Dignity Kits : Kenya and Ethiopia Students

A dignity kit ensures that students' basic needs are met so they can focus on their studies without the worry of meeting their everyday needs.

Coordinator Salary: EA Staff

Our East African partners oversee programs and ensure their communities are supported and cared for year-round.
